Clay Masks

Treat your skin to these amazing masks that will leave your skin fresh and glowing! These masks are ready to use, spreadable, and a lovely lotion-like texture. To use, apply a medium layer to dry, clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow to sit on the skin for 10-15 minutes, then use warm water to rinse off.

Q. What are those big names in the ingredient list?

A. Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, and Butylene Glycol make up an ingredient called BTMS-50, which is a conditioning emulsifier. This binds together the water and skin loving oils so that the mask is a lovely spreadable, lotion-like texture.

Next, Phenoxyethanol is the main ingredient in a preservative called Optiphen, which is needed to make sure that no mold or nasty bacteria grows in your mask! Caprylyl Glycol is a carrier for the Phenoxyethanol. Optiphen is the most natural preservative I could find, and is paraben and formaldehyde-free.
